On a brisk December evening, more than 60 community leaders gathered for the San Jose Leadership Council's annual holiday party (thanks to host Rhonda Berry).
As glasses were clinking and folks were gobbling up the tasty potluck fare, there was more important community being done. In an effort to give back, graduates brought blankets to donate. The stack started small but by the evening's end, there were dozens and dozens of blankets that were donated to InnVision the Way Home.
InnVision is the Silicon Valley’s leading provider of housing and services for homeless families and individuals. They are dedicated to empowering homeless and at-risk families and individuals in finding…the way home!
When SJLC learned that blankets topped InnVision's wish list, they rallied for the cause. Many thanks to everyone who brought a blanket and helped our community by this simple, small action.
