Thanks a ton Many thanks to the dozen volunteers who helped on Saturday at our annual community service day. SJLC partnered with Village Harvest, a nonprofit that harvests fruit and then donates it to area foodbanks. Three hours in the hot sun, this committed group picked 2,000 pounds — or 1 ton — of oranges, lemons and grapefruits.
Congratulations to CLSJ Class of 2008 Many congrats to the inspired class of 2008. CLSJ '08 celebrated graduation at the San Jose Institute of Contemporary Art in downtown San Jose on May 19. We welcome into the Leadership Council fold and look forward to seeing them making a difference out in our community.
Congratulations to San Jose Leadership Academy Graduates The San Jose Leadership Academy graduated another class of community-minded youth. These young adults spent nine months learning about San Jose and understanding the importance of giving back to our community.
